Yiwu Is to Build Business Tourism Destination City

In the next few years, Yiwu will develop with the focus on efforts to build domestic and international famous business tourism destination city.

Grand blueprint of Yiwu tourism industry in the next 10 years:

By 2015, the annual tourist income will have amounted to 12.5 billion yuan. Development of tourism projects and scenic spots construction will have made great progress. Yiwu shopping tourism and exhibition business tourism will have become an international influential brand and the status as Zhejiang International Tourism Destination City and an important node city in East China International Golden Tourism Line will have been preliminarily established. By 2020, the number of Yiwu annual tourists and tourist income will be increasing at a fast speed continuously. Tourism industry will have been fully developed and Yiwu will have become an international renowned business tourism destination city with rich products, distinctive features, excellent service and harmonious environment.

Every year, Yiwu fiscal office will arrange no less than 10 million yuan as a special fund to support the development of all tourism causes.

Besides, the reward criteria to those who organize domestic tourists to travel in Yiwu has been raised:

To those who organize domestic tourist group with 10 persons(or more) with a total of 100 (or more) tourists throughout the year to go shopping in Yiwu, there are 8 yuan per person reward for non-lodging and 20 yuan per person reward for lodging.

To those who organize 5 (or more) overseas tourists with a total of 20 (or more) overseas tourists throughout the year to travel in Yiwu, there are 50 yuan and 100 yuan reward respectively depending on non-lodging and lodging.

To those who organize train or plane team to come to travel in Yiwu, there are 30 yuan per person reward for lodging and half the reward for non-lodging.
